Update on Minors for Engineering Students

In June, the ESS administered a survey to gauge student interest in possible interdisciplinary minors. Here's the feedback we received, along with an update on where the discussion is heading with the Faculty. In all, 920 students participated. (That's 21.4% of undergraduate Engineering students in 2015-2016.) 92.3% of respondents said that they think "Engineering students should be able to take a minor". 82.7% said that "If the option was available, [they] would take a minor".
