When is the Engineering Head Shave?
The Engineering Head Shave is generally held at the end of November on a Friday.

How do I get involved in the Engineering Head Shave?
Register on our website, and you’re good to go! You can also print off the pledge sheet if you want to start fundraising.

Are there any requirements to join the Head Shave?
Nope!

I’m not in Engineering. Can I still shave?
Yep! We encourage everybody, regardless of whether you are in Engineering, or even University for that matter!

I can’t shave my head, but still want to help out. What can I do?
We’re always looking for people to volunteer. Contact the coordinators to find out how!

Who do I make the cheque out to?
All cheques can be made out to the Alberta Cancer Foundation. The participant can hand in their pledge sheet along with funds collected at the Engineering Head Shave, although you may drop off any further/missing donations after the event at the ESS Office.

Can I donate my shaved hair as well?
Yep! Please read over the Donating Your Hair document for more information.

What is the Engineering Hair Dye?
The Hair Dye is a promotion to help raise awareness of the Head Shave. Participants will dye their head a different colour according to how much money is raised through the promotion. More information can be found here.
